I’m Ben Yates (he/him) and I’m running to be your ANUSA President. As General Secretary this year, I’ve fought for students on university committees and delivered large reforms to make ANUSA more accessible and less bureaucratic.
As your President I have a vision for:
- a Residential Hall Diversity Strategy,
- a long term COVID academic accommodations plan,
- a reform strategy for key university SASH policies, and
- a plan for ANUSA to represent postgraduate students after PARSA is defunded.
As a current ANUSA Executive member, I have the experience to take on the presidency and fight for you every day. I believe that ANUSA must work to empower you, not to speak over you.
Power in Community is the only major ticket offering an independent, experienced and activist vision for ANUSA.
