Heyyya! I’m Luke Harrison (he/they) and I’m real keen to be running as your 2023 ANUSA Welfare Officer! My work as a General Representative and Deputy Education Officer on ANUSA this year has shown me the power of an activist union lies with all students. Welfare Officer is a political role, and I intend to fight for our rights. My main policies are as follows:
Restructuring ANUSA to have a student focus.
Working with students to build collectives as support bases, as well as organising spaces.
Fighting with students to ensure our campus and our education is accessible.
Organising around welfare campaigns.
Working to construct the Welfare and Education Action Group to look outward to fight for student issues.
