My name’s Sophie McDowall (she/her) and I’m a second year student studying a Bachelor of Arts majoring and minoring in International relations, War studies, History and Asian studies. I strongly believe in the power of a true student representative body in advocating for student life and rights, making life at ANU better. My experience throughout Uni, in Lodges, and outside of Uni would lend themselves handy within ANUSA to advocate for real change.
I want to be your Gen Rep who can hold ANUSA accountable, push policy and strive to make a real difference at the University. My policies cover integral areas such as accessibility to student healthcare, class accessibility to online students and student safety on campus - improving resources on campus and those provided by ANUSA, advocating for training and education surrounding online course work, as well as the advocation for female staff at ANU medical, providing more availability for students.
